Jam Pack 4: Symphony Orchestra. APPLE LOOPS. GarageBand may not be considered a serious piece of recording software by some, but in reality it does most of what the majority of us actually need from a sequencer, and Apple Loops, far from being gimmicks, have lots of applications in songwriting and even in the creation of original music. The Apple Jam Pack Symphony Orchestra puts the instruments of the symphony at your command! Build orchestral themes using over 2000 prerecorded loops in different styles and tempos, including symphonic, chamber, and solo performances. You can also use the loops and samples in this sound collection individually to enhance songs in any genre.
Apple has posted an update to GarageBand Jam Pack 4: Symphony Orchestra. The 3MB v1.0.1 update is available for download from Apple’s Web site. The update “addresses isolated issues with the sound quality of some Software Instruments when used with GarageBand 2, Logic Pro 7, or Logic Express 7,” according to Apple.
GarageBand is the music-making software Apple includes as part of its iLife software suite, included on all Macs and also available for purchase separately. GarageBand Jam Packs provide GarageBand users with more Apple Loops and playable software instruments. GarageBand Jam Pack 4: Symphony Orchestra includes more than 30 orchestral software instruments like brass and winds, percussion, strings and other instruments you’d find in a real orchestra, along with more than 2,000 pre-recorded Apple Loops.
